Life is worth Racing for. Enter Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life and raise money for life-saving cancer research.
Race for Life 5k is a great first challenge, no matter your age or fitness level. Go solo and join hundreds of people on the day, or sign up as a group with friends and family. There's no pressure to finish in a certain time, so walk, jog or run at your own pace and enjoy the atmosphere! However you take part, you're helping to beat cancer.
The Start and Finish area is on grass. The course is all flat and is on a mixture of grass and tarmac paths through Malvern and Brueton Park.

The Start and Finish line is in Malvern Park between the square hedged gardens and the tennis courts.

By car:
General Event Parking: There is no official car parking for this event. Please use Solihull Town Centre car parks. The town centre is approx. 10 minutes walk from the event site. Please allow time for this. Please note Malvern Park Car Park will be closed for the duration of the event.
Drop Offs: There are no dedicated drop off points at this event.
Blue Badge Parking: There is blue badge parking available in the Town Centre Car Parks. The town centre is approx. 10 minutes walk from the event site. Please allow time for this. Please note Malvern Park Car Park will be closed for the duration of the event.
Volunteer Parking: There is no official car parking for this event. Please use Solihull Town Centre car parks. The town centre is approx. 10 minutes walk from the event site. Please allow time for this. Please note Malvern Park Car Park will be closed for the duration of the event.
Electric Charging points: Mell Square Car Park and Churchill Car Park both have charging points.
Public transport and pedestrians:
Pedestrians: There are various public transport links to the venue.
Bus: Bus routes 5, 5A and 899 serve the park.
Train: The nearest train station is in Solihull Town Centre which is an 18 min walk to the event site.
Cycling & Bike Racks: Available at the front of Parkridge Visitor Centre located in Brueton Park.

This course is not suitable for wheelchair users due to several grassed areas on the course.
We aim for maximum accessibility at our events. Our contact centre and on-site team are ready to assist with any needs or questions you may have.
Sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee, and our Event Managers are trained Dementia Friends.
A QR code will be available on the main event site to access British Sign Language stage content for those who use BSL.
