Life is worth Racing for. Enter Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life and raise money for life-saving cancer research.
Race for Life 5k is a great first challenge, no matter your age or fitness level. Go solo and join hundreds of people on the day, or sign up as a group with friends and family. There's no pressure to finish in a certain time, so walk, jog or run at your own pace and enjoy the atmosphere! However you take part, you're helping to beat cancer.
The start and finish is on grass. The course a loop around the Old Deer Park which is on grass and completely wheelchair accessible as the area is flat.

Once you sign up for your Race for Life event, you'll receive an email with all the need-to-know details to help you feel fully prepared for the day.
The meeting point is in Old Deer Park by the tennis courts behind Pools on the Park Leisure Centre.

By car:
General Event Parking: Parking is available in the Old Deer car park (pay & display) on Twickenham Road, A316. Please use the pedestrian bridge to cross over into the event site.
Drop Offs: There's a drop off area in Pools in the Park car park. Please do not use this area for parking.
Blue Badge Parking: Available in the Old Deer Park carpark on Twickenham road, A316. Please use the pedestrian bridge to cross over into the event site.
Volunteer Parking: Parking is available in the Old Deer car park (pay & display) on Twickenham Road, A316. Please use the pedestrian bridge to cross over into the event site.
Electric Charging points: The nearest electric charging point is TW9 1DN (BP Pulse charging station).
Public transport and pedestrians:
Pedestrians: Access via Pools in the Park Leisure Centre or across the pedestrian bridge over the A316.

This event is suitable for wheelchairs users with assistance, the course is on flat grass throughout.
We aim for maximum accessibility at our events. Our contact centre and on-site team are ready to assist with any needs or questions you may have.
Sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee, and our Event Managers are trained Dementia Friends.
A QR code will be available on the main event site to access British Sign Language stage content for those who use BSL.
