About the 5k event

The 5k is an achievable distance and a good first challenge for most people. At just over 3 miles it can take about an hour to walk on average, but there's no pressure to finish in a certain time. Go at your own pace to help fund life-saving cancer research.

Course information

Our 5k event is a flat, 2.5k out and back route along the Menai Strait with views of Angelsey and the mountains of Eryri. The first and last 150m are on grass, but the ground conditions are generally good all year round.
