Life is worth Racing for. Enter Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life and raise money for life-saving cancer research.
Race for Life 3k is ideal for families or groups doing their first Race for Life. It's a fun, achievable and an unforgettable day out! Sign up as a group with friends and family, or go solo and join hundreds of people on the day. There's no pressure to finish in a certain time, so walk, jog or run at your own pace and enjoy the atmosphere. However you take part, you're helping to beat cancer.
The start and finish are on hardstanding. The course is on tarmac path and is predominantly flat.

Once you sign up for your Race for Life event, you'll receive an email with all the need-to-know details to help you feel fully prepared for the day.
The start line is located within the Sealife Centre Car park.
The finish line is on the promenade, down from 'The Old Scalby Mill' pub.

Pedestrians: The closest entrance to the event site for pedestrians on foot is to arrive via Scalby Mills Road.
Bus: The nearest bus stops to the event site are on Burniston Road (A165) and is a considerable walk to the event site. The walk is mostly flat on a tarmacked path.
Train: Nearest train station is Scarborough Train Station which is 2 miles away.
