Life is worth Racing for. Enter Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life and raise money for life-saving cancer research.
Pretty Muddy® Kids is a fun-packed muddy obstacle course for children aged 6-12 (over 1.2m tall). The young fundraisers climb, crawl and slide their way around the course at their own pace, accompanied by an adult. The course is approximately 5k which is just over three miles, and there's no pressure to finish in a certain time. Get ready to get muddy on an unforgettable day out.
The start line is on hardstanding, and the event site and finish line is on grass. Ground condition may vary due to recent weather conditions.
The course is mainly on grass with some gravel sections. Ground conditions are generally very poor so extreme caution is needed when taking part. There are various elevation changes however these are not excessive.
There will not be any water refill stations along the course so if you require water during the event, please remember to bring your own reusable water bottle already filled up. You will be able to refill this at the refill station when you finish.
Please arrive 15 to 20 mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.
Our courses have been measured with a measuring wheel. This is the most accurate measurement method and may not always correspond with digital tracking apps and watches.
You can take part in any Race for Life event as an individual or a group to raise money for life-saving research.
Get your friends and family involved and walk, jog or run at your own pace! An adult will need to accompany the child around the course but adults will not be able to go on the obstacles.
However you choose to get muddy, you're helping to beat cancer.
