Life is worth Racing for. Enter Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life and raise money for life-saving cancer research.
Race for Life 3k is ideal for families or groups doing their first Race for Life. It's a fun, achievable and an unforgettable day out! Sign up as a group with friends and family, or go solo and join hundreds of people on the day. There's no pressure to finish in a certain time, so walk, jog or run at your own pace and enjoy the atmosphere. However you take part, you're helping to beat cancer.
The start is on tarmac and the finish is on grass. The course follows the tree lined paths of The Common, follows Cemetery Road and returns to The Common to finish. The 3k follows the 5k route but splits off 500m and follows the gravel path around Ornamental Lake. The 3k merges to re-join the 5k at the main crossroads on The Common.

Once you sign up for your Race for Life event, you'll receive an email with all the need-to-know details to help you feel fully prepared for the day.
The start line is on the main flat tarmac path through The Common.
The finish line is on the grass area of The Common, in site of the start line.
