JustGiving

JustGiving primarily provide digital support rather than phone support. You can chat online to JustGiving from 9am - 6pm Monday - Saturday from within your account.

We revisit our venue strategy on an annual basis and before we proceed with any new events, we must review the following elements and consider the cost efficiency:

  • Do we need a new event in the suggested location?
  • Is there is enough event capacity in the surrounding races?
  • Does the new suggested location fulfil our socio-demographic needs?

The Race for Life raises money to fund life-saving research. So we owe it to our participants and supporters to ensure that we raise as much money as possible in the most cost-efficient way across the UK.

It is only possible to hold an event overseas if you are a school.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to organise your own The Race for Life event. However, if you are interested in holding a “fun run” in your workplace or local community, you can register online here.

Once you have done this, you will then be contacted by our Central Fundraising Team who will be able to fully support you with help and advice and provide any Cancer Research UK branded materials that might be useful for your fundraising.
