Course information

The 10k is a double lap of the 5k route. The start is on Baiter Park, adjacent to Parkstone bay. The course is on a mixture of grass and tarmac that heads out looping around Poole Park, going under the railway line and entering Whitecliff Recreational Ground and Harbourside Park. The finish re-enters Baiter Park, adjacent to Parkstone bay.
Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. There will be a water refill station 1/2 around the course and a ScottishPower water refill station will be available to use at the finish.
Please arrive 30 to 45mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.
Our courses have been measured with a measuring wheel.  This is the most accurate measurement method and may not always match up with fitbits, strava and Apple watches.  Remember to follow the route carefully and don't cut corners as that will alter the distance you cover!

Accessibility

The Poole course begins on Baiter Park with a short incline on grass, a gravel path and through a field where the grass is trodden down to make a track. The route follows the road through Poole Park and around the lake into Whitecliff Harbourside Park. From there the route is on well cut grass until the finish line. Due to these elements the route is suitable for wheelchair users with assistance. There is no disabled / accessibility  parking on site.
