Course information

The course is a mixture or grass and tarmac paths, winding up and down the common. It passes the band stand, Long Pond and Mount Pond before returning to the gravel pitches.

There will not be any water refill stations along the course so if you require water during the event, please remember to bring your own reusable water bottle already filled up. A Scottish Power water refill station will be available to use at the finish

Please arrive 30 to 45mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

Our courses have been measured with a measuring wheel. This is the most accurate measurement method and may not always match up with fitbits, Strava and Apple watches. Remember to follow the route carefully and don't cut corners as that will alter the distance you cover!

Join forces or go solo

You can take part in any Race for Life event as an individual or a group to raise money for life-saving research. However you choose to take part, you’re helping to beat cancer.
