Life is worth Racing for. Enter Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life and raise money for life-saving cancer research.
Looking for more of a challenge without any pressure? Race for Life 10k is for you! Our 10k events are now chip-timed, so you can find out if you’ve beaten your personal best – while you’re raising funds to help beat cancer. 10k is just over 6 miles. Take it at your own pace or push yourself a little more. Have fun with it and enjoy the atmosphere.
The start line, finish line and event site are all on hardstanding. The 10K course is a single lap route which is entirely on woodland paths and gravel tracks. The route incorporates a steep incline and decline over old pale hill within the first two kilometres, followed by rolling elevation changes within the forest, making this a tough 10K event to take part in.
Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. There will be a water refill station 1/2 around the course and a Scottish Power water refill station will be available to use at the finish.
Please arrive 30 to 45mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.
Update - Due to roadworks and temporary traffic lights in the local area near to Delamere Forest, please allow extra time for your journey.
