Life is worth Racing for. Enter Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life and raise money for life-saving cancer research.
Race for Life 10k is a more challenging event, but without any pressure. Take it at your own pace and enjoy the atmosphere, or push yourself a little more. The events are chip-timed, so you can find out if you’ve beaten your personal best! Sign up as a group with friends and family, or go solo and join hundreds of people on the day. However you take part, you’re helping to beat cancer.
The course is on tarmac roads throughout Falmouth town centre, heading up Cliff Road, looping around the Castle and back down Cliff Road. Over 50% of the route is on an incline which is rewarded with wonderful views.
The 10k course is a double lap of the 5k course.

Once you sign up for your Race for Life event, you'll receive an email with all the need-to-know details to help you feel fully prepared for the day.
The start & finish line is within Gyllynvase Car Park.

Please be mindful that although this course is flat and on tarmacked roads, over 50% is on an incline so assistance may be required. This also includes the same for pushchairs, the route is mainly flat with a number of inclines, therefore please do consider this.
We aim for maximum accessibility at our events. Our contact centre and on-site team are ready to assist with any needs or questions you may have.
Sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee, and our Event Managers are trained Dementia Friends.
