Course information

The start is on grass in line with the childrens play area outside the Jungle Parc and Forest Cafe.

The course is on a mixture of tarmaced paths and  woodland trails. Due to the nature of the venue, the route does involve some hills, uneven ground, twists and turns and all adds to the challenge and fun. The 10k is a double lap route.

The finish is on grass, a little further up from the start line near the large oak tree.

Our courses are accurately measured with a measuring wheel, which may differ from GPS devices. Please follow the designated route closely to maintain the intended distance; cutting corners will affect your distance covered.

Accessibility

We recommend the course is wheelchair accesible but with assistance. The route is mostly on gravel trail paths that are flat. Around 1km there is a sharp incline into the woods. Please note that there is an accessible alternative to follow the track along the lake, there will be signage to highlight this. Some of the route is on grass outside Lydiard House, but then returns to gravel tracks for the rest of the route.

We aim for maximum accessibility at our events. Our contact centre and on-site team are ready to assist with any needs or questions you may have.

Additional Support request badges are available, and our Event Managers are trained Dementia Friends.
