The Windsor 3k is a single lap which takes in the stunning grounds of the Royal Windsor Racecourse, and is in the perfect setting for Race for Life. The flat course takes place on both tarmac and grass, travelling between the Racetrack and the River Thames, before looping back into the centre of the Racetrack. Grass sections can not be avoided and some section of the course can be quite narrow.
There will not be any water refill stations along the course so if you require water during the event, please remember to bring your own reusable water bottle already filled up. You will be able to refill this at the refill station when you finish.
Please arrive 30 to 45 mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.
Our courses have been measured with a measuring wheel. This is the most accurate measurement method and may not always correspond with digital tracking apps and watches.
The meeting point is in the centre of the Racecourse. Stewards will be on hand to direct you to the event site from the car park.
If using what3words, enter ///cones.cone.sake in the free app, to find the exact starting point.
The nearest stations are Windsor and Eton Riverside or Windsor and Eton Central. However, the venue is about a 35 minute walk away and no public bus routes pass by the racecourse. Taxis are available. There is plenty of free parking at the venue.
Please check back for details on electric charging points and bike racks
This event is wheelchair accessible with assistance. The course includes a grass event site and a large number of grassy stretches that cannot be avoided on the course which is why assistance is advised. People with visual impairments are welcome to take part with a guide.
