Course information

Our 5k Pretty Muddy event offers a single lap route around the landscaped grounds of Temple Newsam, starting and finishing in front of the impressive Tudor-Jacobean mansion.

The terrain is predominantly path and grass with some small sections of flagstone paths which can be uneven in places. It is generally flat with a small uphill section at the beginning.

These are designed to be suitable for all levels of fitness and experience but you can conquer as many or as little as you feel comfortable with.

Remember, this event includes mud so bring a towel and change of clothes for the way home!

There will not be any water refill stations along the course so if you require water during the event, please remember to bring your own reusable water bottle already filled up. You will be able to refill this at the refill station when you finish.

Please arrive 15 to 20 mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.
