Life is worth Racing for. Enter Cancer Research UK’s Race for Life and raise money for life-saving cancer research.
Race for Life 3k is ideal for families or groups doing their first Race for Life. It's a fun, achievable and an unforgettable day out! Sign up as a group with friends and family, or go solo and join hundreds of people on the day. There's no pressure to finish in a certain time, so walk, jog or run at your own pace and enjoy the atmosphere. However you take part, you're helping to beat cancer.
The start line, finish line and event site is on grass, but it is flat. The course is on a combination of grass and tarmac paths, and is entirely flat. Ground conditions may vary depending on recent weather conditions.

Once you sign up for your Race for Life event, you'll receive an email with all the need-to-know details to help you feel fully prepared for the day.
The start and finish lines are located on the main field which can be accessed from the car park.

By car:
General Event Parking: Parking is available free of charge at Victoria Park.
Drop Offs: Drop off is allowed within the main car park. Please do not stop on the road leading up to the car park.
Blue Badge Parking: Parking is available free of charge at Victoria Park. From here it is around 50m on a mix of tarmac path and grass to the event site.
Volunteer Parking: Parking is available free of charge at Victoria Park.
Electric Charging points: There are none available at this event.
Public transport and pedestrians:
Pedestrians: All the entrances to the park will be open for pedestrian access.
Bus: The following buses run directly outside Victoria Park - 1, 1C, 1E, 11, 11A, 47.
Train: Warrington Bank Quay Train Station is 1.5 miles walk from the event site.
Cycling & Bike Racks: There are none available at this event.

Sunflower wristbands are available at the enquiries marquee, and our Event Managers are trained Dementia Friends.
