Course information

The start line and finish area is within Hampton Pier Recreation Ground.

The Herne Bay route is mainly on sea wall paths and roads and is mostly flat, but does include some steep inclines/declines along the road and Tankerton slopes. The route shows off the spectacular views along the seafront.

Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. There will be a water refill station 1/2 around the course and a Scottish Power water refill station will be available to use at the finish.

Please arrive 30 to 45mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

Our courses have been measured with a measuring wheel. This is the most accurate measurement method and may not always match up with fitbits, Strava and Apple watches. Remember to follow the route carefully and don't cut corners as that will alter the distance you cover!

Walk, jog or run together in a group or go solo at your own pace, or lead the way as a Group Leader and get family, friends and colleagues involved! However you choose to take part, you’re helping to beat cancer.
