Everyone has a reason to Race for Life. Enter now and raise money for life-saving research. Together we will beat cancer.
About the 5k event
The original and most popular Race for Life event, the 5k is an entry-level distance and an achievable first challenge for most. At just over 3 miles it can take about an hour to complete on average, but there's no pressure to finish in a certain time. Walk, jog, run or make your way around the course however suits you to fund life-saving research.
On the day
You fundraise, we discover
"Race for Life was an inspiring, uplifting, memorable day"
While your entry fee covers the cost of your event, it's the money you raise that will fund vital research and see more people surviving cancer.
The start and finish lines are on the showground next to the adventure playground. Please use the Rostherene Entrance and follow directional signage and stewards on your arrival.
If using what3words, enter ///hops.anchors.craftsmen in the free app, to find the exact starting point.
By car: car parking is available at the venue free of charge when accessing Race for Life. Please use the Rostherene Entrance and follow directional signage and stewards.
Disabled parking is available. Please let the car parking stewards know you need access to theses spaces on your arrival and they will direct you appropriately.
By train: the nearest station is Knutsford, situated half a mile from the Knutsford Entrance to Tatton Park. It is a further 30 minute walk down the estate drive to the start line.
By bus: local bus services are available to Knutsford including the number 27 from Macclesfield and 288 from Altrincham via Wilmslow.
Please check back for details on electric charging points and bike racks
Due to the undulating terrain of the course and the whole route being on grass and woodland paths, we would not reccomend this event for wheelchair users.
The car park located at the venue has disabled parking available.
If spectating, the event site, the course and the car park is mostly on grass, so those with accessibility issues may require assistance on the uneven surfaces.
If you require any further information on the accessibility of a Race for Life event or wish to bring a carer/assistant to accompany you or if you need to bring a guide runner, please contact our Supporter Hotline on 0300 123 0770 and press 1 when prompted (Opening hours are 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday) or email us at email@example.com .
