Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.

Please note, all children taking part must be at least 1.2m tall on day of event.

The start line is at the top of the field of Abington Park, alongside the event parking.

Free event parking will be provided at the venue. Please car share where possible due to the large number of participants attending. Alternatively please use local car parks or public transport where possible.

Course information

The Northampton Pretty Muddy Kids route meanders through the very scenic Abington Park. The route is on a mix of pathways and grass.

Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.

Please arrive 15 to 20mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time

Whilst this event is not accessible for wheelchair users given the nature of the obstacles, the event site is accessible for spectators with wheelchairs. There will be blue badge holder parking available at the top of the event car park (within Abington Park), approximately 100m from the start/finish area. The car park and event site are on a grass field which can get boggy in poor weather conditions.
