Alexandra Park is located to the south east of Oldham town centre and easily accessible from both M60 J22 and M62 J20.
It is surrounded by Park Road/Queens Road, Kings Road and Alexandra Road where parking is available. Parking is limited on these roads and available on a first come first serve basis.
The closest train station is Oldham (1.1 miles) or Oldham Mumps Metrolink Station (0.8miles).
You can also easily access the park on bus routes:
- From Oldham Bus Station, stopping on Park Road 149
- From Oldham Mumps, stopping on Abbey Hills Road
We would advise that this event is accessible for wheelchair users with assistance. The majority of the route is on hardstanding paths but there is a section on grass that can get quite boggy in wet weather. A shorter route would be available if grounds are unsuitable.
Disabled parking is available at Alexandra Park Car Park.
If spectating, the event site is mostly on grass, so those with accessibility issues may require assistance on the uneven surfaces
We are delighted to welcome spectators to Race for Life so please do bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and support you on the day.
Please bring a filled water bottle with you to your event as we're proactively managing our impact on the environment. We will be removing single use plastic bottles.
