10k is a great step up from our 5k events, that's still achievable for everyone. Join a Race for Life 10k event and help raise valuable funds for cancer-beating research.

Course information

Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.

The course runs through Irvine Beach Park then loops onto Marine Drive before returning back to Beach Park. It's a relatively flat course that takes in a mix of tarmac and grass. The 10k is a double lap of the 5k course.

Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

The start line is located on the Irvine Beach Park playing fields.

There are a number of buses that service Irvine Harbour which is just a short walk from the start line. Irvine train station is a 15 minute walk from the start line. Visit travelinescotland.com for help with planning your journey.

There is event parking at the Beach Drive Car Park, just across the road from the start line.

This route is accessible to wheelchair users, but due to a 400m section of the course being on grass, assistance is recommended.

We are delighted to welcome spectators to Race for Life so please do bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and support you on the day.

Please bring a filled water bottle with you to your event as we're proactively managing our impact on the environment. We will be removing single-use plastic bottles.
