Course information

Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.

The Blackpool route is set in the shadow of the iconic Blackpool Tower and takes you along the Lower Promenade, bringing you back along the Upper Promenade to the Festival Headland and onto the second lap. An amazing atmosphere in a fabulous location.

The start line is next to the Comedy Carpet on the Festival Headland.

There is no parking at the event so please use local car parks. A drop off point will be provided on the evening of the event, please follow signage and the stewards will direct you. There are a number of local bus and tram services which run along The Promenade and stop at the venue. We would recommend that this event is wheelchair accessible with assistance. The course is all on paths and mainly flat, except for one section which is very steep. However there is an alternative route for wheelchair users, and our marshals will be on hand to assist.

Supporter / spectator access

We are delighted to welcome spectators to Race for Life so please do bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and support you on the day.

Please bring a filled water bottle with you to your event as we're proactively managing our impact on the environment. We will be removing single-use plastic bottles.
