The start line is close to the entrance of the park opposite the Plymouth Life Centre. Please arrive 1 hour before your start time and listen to the commentator for instructions for starting your wave.
Limited parking is available at the venue so we suggest car sharing or taking public transport where possible. Plymouth train station is a 15 minute walk and a Sunday bus service is also in operation from the city centre.
Park & Ride: Additional parking has been arranged at the George Junction, Tavistock Rd, Plymouth PL6 7HB where you will be provided with a free park and ride facility kindly arranged by Stagecoach South West. Please therefore allow plenty of time to use the bus from the George Junction, due to the journey to the Plymouth Pretty Muddy event area taking around 20 minutes.
Please follow the AA signs for the Plymouth Pretty Muddy parking at the George Junction Park and Ride.
This event has some extra challenges thrown in with some fun obstacles to do together. There are lots of opportunities for supporters to watch the fun at each obstacle and the whole event has a fantastic atmosphere.
All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. Obstacle layout will vary from venue to venue and adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.
The Pretty Muddy Plymouth route follows pathways around Central Park, with woodland and open parkland sections. The route is hilly in places and is a mixture of grass and pathways within the park.
Due to the nature of the event, it is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Don’t forget to bring your friends and family along to support you, they can stroll around the stalls and refreshments in the main event area, and cheer you over the near-by obstacles including our big slide! There is also a children's play area in the park. Changing facilities will be available at the event so please bring a change of clothes to ensure you can return on the bus clean
