Course information

The course is a single lap 5k that begins at Chester County Officers Cricket Club. The route veers away from the residential area to journey into Chester’s scenic rural countryside. A very enjoyable flat route, perfect for all abilities.

Meeting point

The start line is at the County Sports Club near to the club house area.

There is a limited number of parking for the event available at Upton High School, St James Ave, Upton, Chester CH2 1NN which is a short walk to the venue. All parking at Upton High School is on grass. On-street parking in the surrounding area and walking to the event is an option.

The event is wheelchair user friendly with assistance. The route is mainly on tarmacked roads and pavement and remains flat throughout. The section of the course which surrounds the cricket pitch and football pitch has regular intervals of speed bumps. The event site and a small section of the course is on grass, which may become boggy in wet weather.

Supporter / spectator access

Don’t forget to invite your friends and family so they can cheer you on and support you on the day. They can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell.  They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run round the course!
