Course information

The Clapham Race for Life 10K course is a double lap course all on grass or dirt paths, and  winds up and down the common. It passes the band stand, Long Pond and Mount Pond before returning to the gravel pitches. 

Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

Meeting point

The main event site can be found on the gravel football pitches just off The Avenue (A205) behind Mount Pond.

Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.

Please use public transport to get to the event. 

The Clapham Common Race for Life is a 10 minute walk from Clapham South Tube, or a 16 minute walk from Clapham Common Tube. 

The event can also be accessed from Clapham Junction (the nearest accessible station), a 25 minute walk or a short bus ride away. (Bus G1 - get off at Broomwood Road)

The Clapham common course is suitable for wheelchairs with assistance. Please note the course is predominantly on grass and bumpy dirt tracks, but is relatively flat apart from one small section which can be diverted without losing distance.

Supporter / spectator access

We are delighted to welcome spectators to Race for Life so please do bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and support you on the day.

Please bring a filled water bottle with you to your event as we're proactively managing our impact on the environment. We will be removing single-use plastic bottles.
