Race for Life Pretty Muddy is our brilliant 5k muddy obstacle course. Scramble over the A-frame. Crawl through the mud pit. Have fun with your friends. And raise valuable funds for life-saving research.

Course information

The Pretty Muddy Birmingham course is all on grass around the lovely open spaces of Cofton Park.

Please arrive 15 to 20minis before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time

Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.

Meeting point

The meeting point is in front of Cofton Park’s small car parking area.

Event Parking is available within Cofton Park. The main car parking and event site is all on grass and poor weather may affect the suitablity for disabled access. 

There is a regular bus service No 47 that drops off and picks up around the venue from Birmingham City Centre.

Clean Air Zone timing and charges.

On 1 June 2021 Birmingham launched its Clean Air Zone. It will operate 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The charges will be applied daily, effective from 14 June 2021. A non-compliant vehicle driving in the Zone will pay once for the day, then may drive in the area without limit on that day.

You can find out if you will be charged by inputting your vehicle registration details into the Government vehicle checker.
