Meeting point

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll  be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.

The meeting point is on Costello Playing Fields.

Parking is available at Pickering Park, Pickering Road, Hull, HU4 7AB.  There is a short walk from the car park to the main event site. We advise arriving at least 1 hour before the event start time to allow plenty of time and to enjoy the facilities on offer

Parking

The 10k route is mostly flat with two short steep inclines on grass taking participants into the stadium section. The route is 90% on grass, as is the event site and car park and so those with accessibility issues may require assistance on the uneven surfaces. Please be aware that in wet weather ground conditions on the grassed areas can deteriorate quickly.

Supporter / spectator access

Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell.  They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run round the course!

Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
