Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.

Please note, all children taking part must be at least 1.2m tall on day of event.

Meeting point

The meeting point is on the rugby club field, next to the astroturf pitches.

There is free parking at the venue, through the main Down Grange Sports Complex entrance (off Pack Lane). Please follow signs for event parking on the day and be aware that parking in the Basingstoke Rugby Club car park will not be permitted. Please car share where possible or use public transport (buses 3B, 4, 9 or 57).

Course information

The Pretty Muddy Basingstoke route has a fantastic atmosphere as the course criss-crosses around the many park tracks meaning you can always see other participants around you. Travelling along grass and country paths; this course is mostly flat with our great Pretty Muddy obstacles too.

All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km.

Obstacle layout and shortcut distances will vary from venue to venue. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.

Supporter / spectator access

Don’t forget to bring your friends and family along to support you. There are no showers or changing facilities at this event, so you may wish to bring an old towel for your journey home.
