Course information

The double lap route takes in the lovely grounds and woodland of Graves Park. The route is hilly in places, and is on a mixture of grass, paths and woodland tracks.

Meeting point

The meeting point and start line is in the main event field between the Animal Farm and Rose Garden Cafe.

Event parking will be available at the Graves Park so please follow the specific signs that will be in place to guide you to the car park. Parking will be within the field by the sports Pavilion just off Hemsworth Road/Derbyshire Lane. Please note the venue and surrounding roads may get busy on the day so please consider car sharing where possible.

Disabled spectators and participants are encouraged to park in the Animal Farm Car Park which is located next to the event site.

Graves Park is also accessible via public transport. Several buses run along Hemsworth Road (closest to the event site), Chesterfield Road (A61) and Norton Lane, all of which have access into the park.

Not suitable for pushchairs
Not wheelchair accessible

We would not recommend this course for wheelchair or pushchair users as the route is hilly and includes some grassy and boggy woodland areas.

Supporter / spectator access

Don't forget to bring your friends and family along to support you. The course is open to spectators with opportunities to watch you in action and wait and cheer you through the finish line. The park is also open to the general public so you can enjoy the facilities within the park and Animal Farm. There may also be some extra activities and items to buy so please remember to bring some spare change.
