The course is undulating throughout with one large incline midway through. The route is mainly on flat tarmac paths, with some grassed areas. The event site is on grass with surrounding paths to and from the car park.

Due to the time of year the event is taking place, the grass may become boggy in poor weather conditions.

Disabled parking is available at the venue in the car parks on site, with the Lake Car Park at the Sheepfoot Lane entrance being the closest so site.
