Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.
Event Parking is available at Heaton Park, including Disabled parking spaces at the Lake Car Park at the Sheepfoot Lane entrance.
Manchester City Council are now operating a Pay & Display system in all car parks that will still be operational on the day so please ensure you arrive within plenty of time to purchase a ticket. Charges are hourly or £3 all day. Card payment and Pay by Phone options are available.
The nearest metro station is Heaton Park. Trams run regularly from the City Centre and other destinations. There is a gate into the park directly opposite the station.
There are several bus routes which stop at Heaton Park.
Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.
Although this course route is mostly on paths and only slightly uphill in parts, unfortunately we would advise that our Pretty Muddy event is unsuitable for wheelchairs, mobility aids and pushchairs due to the nature of the obstacles.
If spectating, the event site is on grass so those with accessibility issues may require assistance on the uneven surfaces. Please be aware that in wet weather ground conditions on the grassed areas can deteriorate quickly. The car park and most parts of the course are hardstanding.
Disabled parking is available at the venue in the car parks on site, with the Lake Car Park at the Sheepfoot Lane entrance being the closest so site.
