About the 5k event

The original and most popular Race for Life event, the 5k is an entry-level distance and an achievable first challenge for most. At just over 3 miles it can take about an hour to complete on average, but there's no pressure to finish in a certain time. Walk, jog, run or make your way around the course however suits you to fund life-saving research.
On the day

While your entry fee covers the cost of your event, it's the money you raise that will fund vital research and see more people surviving cancer.

Event car parking is available on Hudson's Field, access via Castle Road. Please do not park in surrounding cul-de-sacs.
The nearest train station is Salisbury, which is about a 30 minute walk from the venue. Please note - Stratford Road will be closed for the duration of this event.
This course is on a mixture of tarmac roads, country lanes and grass. The turning from Beech Road towards Field Barn Cottages is steep and follows a stoney track which then turns onto a public footpath across fields and through woodland.
