The 10k route will take you along a double lap of the Esplanade, taking in the scenic views of Aberdeen Beach and the North Sea. The majority of the course is on road so the terrain is predominantly flat, with the exception of the start and finish areas which are located on grass. Look out for 10k specific signage on the course to direct you round the two sections of course specifically for the 10k route. A course map will be available on the day in the 'Can we help?' tent in the event area.
Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.
Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

The start and finish lines are situated on the grass field beside the Linx Ice Arena.

There are a number of buses that service the Beach Ballroom and Pittodrie Stadium, both of which are approximately 5 minute walks from the start line. Visit travelinescotland.com for help with planning your journey.
Parking will be available at Pittodrie Stadium, less than 5 minutes from the main event area. Follow directions from stewards and signage on the day.

This event is suitable for wheelchair users throughout the majority of the course, however assistance may be required on the grass on the main event site if the weather is wet. There is a slight incline on the road at the start of the course and a decline at the end of the course on the grass.
