Our 10k event offers a double lap route around the grounds of Lister Park. The terrain is predominantly path with small sections of grass and just under 15% of the course is on an incline. The route is hilly throughout with varying gradients.
Walking 10K could take up to 3 hours to complete and is the more challenging of our events but should be suitable for most levels of fitness and experience.
This event can accomodate wheelchair users but please be mindful that although this course is predominantly on path, assistance will be required for the steeper hills.
Please bring a reusable water bottle with you if you require water during the event, as there will only be water available at the finish.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.
The meeting point/start line is on the grass section between Keighly Road and North Park Road within Lister Park. This is clearly visible from the Oak Lane pedestrian entrance.
Pedestrians: Please use the entrance on Oak Lane, adhering to the one way system. Other pedestrian entrances to the park may also be used but please be vigilant as you may cross the course at multiple points on your way to the meeting point/start line.
General event parking: General car parking is not available at this venue. Please use the surrounding residential streets
