Course information

The 10k course is a double lap route mostly on tarmac path with some short grass stretches that can be avoided. The route is hilly throughout with varying gradients. There is a two way section of around 800m with a 1:10 gradient where assistance would be highly recommended. The event site is on grass with tarmac paths around it.

Meeting point

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll  be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.

The meeting point is on the grass next to the children's play area.

There is no official parking at this event, apart from disabled parking which is situated on site. Please use local car parks or public transport.

Please car share where possible and allow extra time for your journey, as the roads around the venue can get quite congested.

Dogs allowed
Suitable for pushchairs
Wheelchair accessible
Toilets
No bag drop
Refreshments
No showers
No parking

We would advise that this course is suitable for wheelchairs with assistance. This event has a very steep gradient, if wheelchair users want to take part they would need at least two assistants due to the gradient on the course.

Supporter / spectator access

Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell.  They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run round the course!

Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
