Course information

The Cleethorpes 10k course is a single lap route, which goes along the seafront path, passed the leisure centre and towards Cleethorpes Pier. It then runs back and through the boating lake to Meridian Showground to finish. It is mainly on tarmac pathways with some small sections of grass.

Meeting point

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll  be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.

The meeting point is in the grounds of Meridian Showground.

There is no designated parking for this event however there is plenty of pay and display car parking close by to Meridian Showground. Due to King’s Road being closed for the event, the Craft Centre car park and Meridian car park will not be accessible.

Cleethorpes is the nearest train station and is about a 25 minute walk away or 10 minutes via public transport. The Miniature railway will also be running to the event on the day; timetable can be found here http://www.cclr.co.uk/timetablefares/

The route is accessible but may require assistance. The course is majority on tarmac path with a section on grass that is around 130m long. The route is mostly flat with one incline that is 5m long as you come around Cleethorpes Leisure Centre. The car parks (which include disabled parking bays) and event site are accessible to all.

Supporter / spectator access

Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell.  They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run round the course!

Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
