Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.
The meeting point is situated over by the cricket pavilion and childrens play area.
From the city centre follow North Road onto Garstang Road (A6). Follow Garstang Road for approximately 1 mile and Moor Park is located on your right. Car parking for the event is available at Preston Football Club (directly opposite the park) Please follow the signage to the car park on the day of the event.
The Pretty Muddy Kids Preston course follows a fantastic route filled with obstacles around the well-kept Moor Park. It features of a mixture of terrains running across grass and paths, circling the Serpentine Lake and passing Preston North End Football Club. The meeting point is central to the course with plenty of opportunities for friends and family to cheer you on along the way. This venue always provides a fantastic atmosphere for everyone.
All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. At the majority of venues, there will be a shortcut available at approximately 2km or 3km, which will lead back to the finish line. This will signposted on the day. If the shortcut is taken, it may mean missing out some of the obstacles, but we will make sure all children get to take part in the muddy slide at the end.

Due to the nature of the event it is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell. They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run round the course!
Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
