Please arrive 15 to 20 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.
The Preston 5k course is a single lap route mostly on flat grass with the occasional slight incline. The route starts and finishes in the middle of the field. Due to the course being on grass, it may be slightly muddy underfoot depending on recent weather conditions.
There are a mixture of obstacles along the way including inflatables, climbing, crawling and mud!
All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles for health and safety purposes.
Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.
Remember to bring a towel and change of clothes for the way home!
Due to the nature of the obstacles this event is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchair users. However we do have standard 3K, 5K and 10K event available at the same venue which are suitable for wheelchair users.
If spectating, the event site is mostly on grass, so those with accessibility issues may require assistance on the uneven surfaces.
