Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.

Please note, all children taking part must be at least 1.2m tall on day of event.

Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.

Please follow the brown signs for the venue 'National Water Sports Centre'. There is car parking at the venue and stewards will be in place to direct you to specific car parks. Please allow time to walk to the start line as this is about 15-20 minutes from the car parking areas around the regatta lake to the start area.

There is a car parking charge for the event payable per car, please make sure you have change available to hand to the stewards on entry. Parking will be charged at £3 per car (The car park fee is subject to change).

Course information

The course starts and finishes next to the Regatta Lake and follows the path around for about 2km before entering the woodland and meadow areas around the venue. The course is a mix of terrain with some path, grass and woodland trails, a fairly flat course but there are some inclines and naturally boggy areas.

Obstacle layout will vary from venue to venue. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.

Please bring a reusable water bottle with you if you require water during the event, as there will only be water available at the finish.

Please arrive 15 to 20mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time

We are delighted to welcome spectators to Race for Life so please do bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and support you on the day.

Please bring a filled water bottle with you to your event as we're proactively managing our impact on the environment. We will be removing single-use plastic bottles.
