The Reading route has a fantastic atmosphere as it criss-crosses around the park. The course is mostly on grass but there are also some steep slopes and woodland terrain is also incorporated.

Please arrive 30 to 45mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time

Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.

The start line can be found by following the pathway across the road from the car park.

Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.

Car parking is available at the venue. Please use the main drive into the park from Liebenrood Road to enter the event parking area on the right hand side of the drive. Stewards will guide you in & out of the venue.

As a result of the higher volume of traffic we do expect some delays in accessing the park. Whist we endeavour to reduce this as much as possible we do ask that you plan to arrive prior to your event start time. We have lots to keep you entertained on the event site prior to your start time.

The nearest station is Reading West which is about a 15 minute walk to Prospect Park.

Parking

Unfortunately this event is not deemed suitable for wheelchair users due to the cross-country terrain of Prospect Park. The course is on grass and passes through thin woodland paths. It's also very steep in places. The start/finish area is also on grass but is flat and there will be spaces near to the event site that are reserved for blue badge holders, should any spectators require them.
