The majority of the route is on tarmac roads and pathways. However, there is a reasonably steep short hill section on Cow Lane next to the allotments and a gentle incline around Royal Victoria Park so wheelchair users may require assistance. Within Royal Victoria Park and Royal Crescent there are some mild inclines along some grass sections of the route. The Course has an overall ascent of 88m throughout the full 10k course. Disabled/ accessibility parking available in Charlotte Street Car Park, Bath. There is no allocated drop of point for the event but we would suggest the Weston Road side of Royal Victoria Park to avoid the event road closures.
