The Windsor Pretty Muddy 5K Kids route is a single lap which takes in the stunning grounds of the Royal Windsor Racecourse, and is in the perfect setting for Race for Life. The flat course takes place on both tarmac and grass, travelling between the Racetrack and the River Thames, before looping back into the centre of the Racetrack. Grass sections can not be avoided.
There are lots of fun and muddy obstacles along the way to get you ‘pretty muddy’. (All of our Pretty Muddy Kids events are approximately 5km. Adults accompanying children will run alongside the course but will not be allowed to take part on the obstacles.)
Please arrive 15 to 20minis before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.
There will not be any water refill stations along the course so if you require water during the event, please remember to bring your own reusable water bottle already filled up. You will be able to refill this at the refill station
Unfortunately, this event has been classified as unsuitable for wheelchair users due to the nature of the event, the obstacles and the terrain on the course route. This includes a grass event site and a large number of grassy stretches that cannot be avoided on the course. People with visual impairments are welcome to take part with a guide.
