About the 10k event
On the day
You fundraise, we discover
"I would like to do whatever I can to raise cancer awareness"
While your entry fee covers the cost of your event, it's the money you raise that will fund vital research and see more people surviving cancer.
There is no specific parking for this event.
There will be road closures affecting Hampton Pier Avenue, Western Esplanade, Chamberlain Drive, West Cliff Drive and Swalecliffe Avenue from 10:15am-11:30am. Please bear this in mind when planning your route and parking.
This event is deemed wheelchair accessible with assistance. There are two steep inclines and declines on the course which can be avoided by following the relevant accessible signage. There will be marshals in position to direct accordingly. Please note that as a result of the minor diversions to enable the course to be inclusive, the course may come up slightly short for these users.
If you require any further information on the accessibility of a Race for Life event, or wish to bring a carer/helper to accompany you, please contact our Supporter Hotline on 0300 123 0770 and press 1 when prompted (opening hours are 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday) or email us at email@example.com.
Bring a water bottle
We want to make Race for Life as sustainable as possible by reducing our single use plastic consumption, so please bring your own reusable water bottle, already filled. We'll provide a water-refill solution that is cost-effective for the charity and environmentally-friendly.
