Course information
The Herne Bay route is mainly on sea wall paths and roads and is mostly flat. The route shows off the spectacular views along Herne Bay seafront.
Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.
There will not be any water refill stations along the course so if you require water during the event, please remember to bring your own reusable water bottle already filled up. You will be able to refill this at the refill station when you finish.
Meeting point
The start line and finish area is within Hampton Pier Recreation Ground.

There is no specific parking for this event.
There will be road closures affecting Hampton Pier Avenue, Western Esplanade, Chamberlain Drive, West Cliff Drive and Swalecliffe Avenue from 10:15am-11:30am. Please bear this in mind when planning your route and parking.

This 3k course is deemed wheelchair accessible with assistance. Please note that the majority of the course is along the flat, hard standing sea wall.

We are delighted to welcome spectators to Race for Life so please do bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and support you on the day.
Please bring a filled water bottle with you to your event as we're proactively managing our impact on the environment. We will be removing single-use plastic bottles.
