Race for Life Pretty Muddy is our brilliant 5k muddy obstacle course. Scramble over the A-frame. Crawl through the mud pit. Have fun with your friends. And raise valuable funds for life-saving research.

The Pretty Muddy 5k single lap course takes a scenic route through Sefton Park. Featuring predominantly flat footpaths in amongst the obstacles, it gives some stunning views of the picturesque park.

There are a mixture of obstacles along the way including inflatables, climbing, crawling and mud!

Remember to bring a towel and change of clothes for the way home!

Please arrive 15 to 20minis before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time

Meeting point

The meeting point and start line are within the park playing field off Mossley Hill Drive, near to The Needle statue.The finish line will also be within the similar vacinity.

There is no official Race for Life parking at the venue. Please use the surrounding area and on-street parking around the park. Please do park carefully and be considerate of the residents.

Although this course route is mostly flat and on grass and paths, unfortunately we would advise that our Pretty Muddy event is unsuitable for wheelchairs, mobility aids and pushchairs due to the nature of the obstacles.

If spectating, the event site, course route and car park are mostly on grass or paths, so those with accessibility issues may require assistance on the uneven surfaces.
