Course information

The Darlington route is a 5k loop of the beautiful South Park. The route begins by following the River Skerne, before crossing Parkside into the Meadows and then coming back into South Park by Squirrel Hill, the bandstand and the bowling green.

Meeting point

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.

There is no parking available at South Park. Please use public transport, walk or cycle to the event. Darlington train station is a 15 minute walk from South Park and there are a number of bus services to the park. The Traveline North East website can help you plan your journey.

This event is suitable for wheelchair users to take part in with assistance as there are some sections on grass. Disabled parking is available at the Bedford Street entrance to South Park, follow direction of stewards who will be there to assist you.
