The Portsmouth 3k Race for Life route is a flat route running around the beautiful Southsea Common, taking in views of Ladies Mile. The 3k route is mostly similar to the 5k route, with a diversion on route to shorten the distance.

Please arrive 30 to 45mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

The start line is on Southsea Common on the adjacent field to Clarence Esplanade.

Please use city centre car parks for the event. There is no event parking on site.

The route is mainly on flat tarmac roads and paths but there is a large section of the course on Southsea Common itself, the grass is cut and flat but may be harder to navigate in wet weather. 

This event is suitable for wheelchairs users and pushchairs with assistance.

There are no allocated drop off points for the event but please be aware that Avenue de Caen will be closed as part of the route.
