Course information

Please remember to bring your own water bottle already filled as there will be no bottled water provided at events. ScottishPower water refill stations will be available to use.

This course is mainly on bumpy grass terain with some paved pathways too. It includes a couple of challening inclines that we advise are wheelchair accessible only with assistance. 

Please arrive 30 to 45 mins before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time

The start line is on the south side of the park, behind the boating lake reception.

Parking is available at Stanborough Park but please be aware that parking fees apply and cameras are in operation. Follow the instructions on the payment machines as to how to activate your Race for Life discounted parking rate. Parking is limited so please use public transport where possible. There will be no parking available at the Police HQ car park.

Please allow plenty of time to access the parking as Stanborough Road will be closed from about 10 minutes prior to the start of the event.

Please note that vehicles will be unable to leave the north car park whilst the road closure is in place for the event (from 10:45am-1:45pm). So if you will need to leave before 1:45pm, please park in the south car park.

Due to the mixed terrain and a number of inclines this event is only suitable for wheelchair users if they have assistance.
