Course information

The Welwyn and Hatfield Pretty Muddy route is set within the grounds of the beautiful Stanborough Park and includes a number of uphill and downhill grassy slopes, as well as three shallow river crossings - so be prepared to get wet, as well as muddy!

Please arrive 15 to 20 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

There will be a water refill station at the finish but no water stations along the course, so if you require water during the event, please remember to bring your own reusable water bottle already filled up.

Meeting point

The start line is on the south side of the park, behind the boating lake reception.

If using what3words, enter ///nets.wing.drag in the free app, to find the exact starting point.

Limited parking will be available in the south and north Stanborough Park car parks. Please be aware that parking fees apply here and cameras will be in operation. Follow the instructions on the payment machines as to how to activate the Race for Life discounted parking rate.
