Welwyn and Hatfield Pretty Muddy Kids
Saturday 16 Oct 2021
£10.00 Children | £0.00 Supervising Adult
Race for Life Pretty Muddy Kids is our brilliant muddy obstacle course just for the little ones. They can take on the obstacles, crawl through the mud pit and have fun with friends, all the while helping raise valuable funds for life-saving research.
Please note, all children taking part must be at least 1.2m tall on day of event.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as and when needed.
The start line is on the south side of the park, behind the boating lake reception
Please note, the north car park at Stanborough Park will not be open for participants to use. Limited parking will be available in the south Stanborough Park car park, but please be aware that parking fees apply here and cameras will be in operation. Follow the instructions on the payment machines in the south car park as to how to activate the Race for Life discounted parking rate.
The Welwyn and Hatfield Pretty Muddy Kids route is set within the boundaries of the beautiful Stanborough Park and includes a number of up and downhill grassy slopes and three shallow river crossings. Parents and guardians need to be prepared to go through the water and to get wet and muddy too!
Due to the nature of the obstacles, this event is not suitable for wheelchair users. If you require any further information on the accessibility of a Race for Life event, or wish to bring a carer/helper to accompany you, please contact our Supporter Hotline on 0300 123 0770 and press 1 when prompted (Opening hours are 8am - 6pm Monday to Friday) or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org
Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line. They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run round the course!
Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19.
