The Brighton route goes take you through this beautiful park. The terrain is grass and woodland paths with a few inclines to challenge you and create a sense of achievement once you have completed the event.
The meeting point is the middle of Stanmer Park.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, we’ll be operating a staggered start time in 2021 to ensure your safety on event day. Additional start times may become available as/when needed.
There is car parking in Stanmer Park and at the university. Please arrive with plenty of time to avoid congestion entering Stanmer Park. The Car park in Stanmer park is a short walk across the internal road, if you have parked in the University car parks they are a 5 min walk from the event site. Please car share as much as possible or use public transport to help with traffic congestion entering and exiting the park. Stanmer Park is also a short walk from Falmer train station and the Amex Station.
Due to the nature of the event it is not suitable for wheelchair users.
Inviting your friends and family to support you on the day is a great idea, they can share in the joy with you as you cross the finish line and ring the bell. They can also help you with those important things, like holding your belongings whilst you walk, jog or run round the course!
Please note, whilst we hope we can open our events to families and friends supporting on the day, this may not be possible due to government guidelines around COVID-19. We will update on this nearer the time.
