The Belfast course is a double lap which takes you on a journey through the beautiful Stormont Estate. The route includes stunning views of the Carson Statue and Stormont Building when ascending Prince of Wales Avenue. The route then turns downhill before re-entering the woodland paths, passing the Bullfield and following the tree line back into the Pavilion playing fields. The route covers a mix of terrain including gravel pathways, road and grass. There is one steep incline as part of your challenge.
Please bring a reusable water bottle with you if you require water during the event, as there will only be water available at the finish.
Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.
The start and finish lines are situated in the car park up from the cricket pavilion at NICSSA Sport and Leisure.
If using what3words, enter ///invent.planet.venue in the free app, to find the exact starting point.
Event car parking is provided within the Stormont Estate and can be accessed via the Stoney Road entrance. All car parks are only a short walk to the Pavilion playing fields where the start / finish area is placed. Stewards and signage will direct you on the day.
Disabled parking is available in the Pavilion car park for blue badge holders only.
This event is suitable for wheelchair users with assistance, due to the steep gradient of Prince of Wales Avenue.
Please note that the main event site and sections of the course are on grass so may become very muddy depending on recent weather conditions.
